Reading Counts is a free-read incentive program offered at St. Paul Lutheran School in grades 2-8.

The students are encouraged to read books during teacher-directed times or free time. Reading Counts books all come with a point value. After finishing a book, the students will take a quiz on that book. When they pass the quiz, they accumulate points working toward achieving classroom and/or individual goals. Prizes are awarded for reaching grade level point goals.

Reading Counts should be a student-motivated program!
