Campus

St. Paul Lutheran School was founded in 1862 in order to provide a Christian Education for the members of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Fort Dodge community. The church building was dedicated in 1886, enlarged in 1930, renovated in 1974, and destroyed by an arsonist in 1999. The school building was dedicated in 1951, enlarged in 1959, and remodeled and dedicated in 1999. In August of 2003, we were able to start worshipping in our new sanctuary. We hold services on Saturday evenings at 6:00 PM and Sunday mornings at 8:00 & 10:30 AM with Education Hour at 9:15 AM for all ages. You are always welcome to visit our church and school and worship with us.

Our school offices consist of our secretary's office and our principal's office, located on the West side of the school building. You can easily find them by entering the West side door of our school building. Click here to see our School Staff.

Our Playground

Through the efforts of a number of members and community members, we have been able to put in a brand new playground on the West side of the school, including new basketball goal posts. We also welcome children of all ages to use it after school hours and during the summer months. As always, it proves to be a valuable resource for our children.

Classrooms

St. Paul's has 8 classrooms. That includes a Pre-school room, a Talented and Gifted (TAG) room, a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th (Combined), and 7th & 8th (Combined). We also have a Title I Reading room.

Gymnasium

St. Paul's gymnasium did double-duty for several years serving as both our gym and our worship center from 1999 until our new sanctuary was finished in August of 2003. Since we have moved into the new sanctuary, the gym floor was completely refinished and is once again in excellent condition, also having received new basketball goals.

Library

Our library has undergone some changes including new carpet, paint, desks and chairs. We have also installed a computer that will be used for barcode checkout of books. Please stop by to visit soon!
